Milo Manheim was warned not to do ‘Dancing with the Stars’ by someone who did very poorly on the show

Milo Manheim is one of the best dancers on “Dancing with the Stars” this season, but he wouldn’t have been on at all if he had listened to Kim Kardashian West. Yes, you read that correctly.

As you may recall, the Kardashians are no strangers to “Dancing with the Stars.” Rob Kardashian made it all the way to second place with Cheryl Burke in Season 13, while Kardashian West petered out in Week 3 with Mark Ballas in Season 7. For all the effort her brother put in to really learn to dance and embrace the experience despite not being the best dancer, Kardashian West did not at all. Her elimination was a relief for everyone, so she had the opposite of advice to give Manheim when he told her recently he was doing the show.

“So, she doesn’t like dancing as much as I do, and I was like, ‘I’m about to do ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ tell me, how was your experience?'” he told “Entertainment Tonight.” “And she was like, ‘Milo, it’s the worst! Like you get injured, you feel like an idiot.’ And I was like, ‘OK, see ya.’ And I left, so that was kinda my advice from her.”

SEE Why the hell did the judges bust out a perfect score so early on ‘Dancing with the Stars’?

Fortunately, the “Zombies” star wasn’t dissuaded by Kardashian West’s negative experience. He has the third highest average score this season, a 24.8, and performed a friggin’ backflip during his jive on Monday despite a hamstring injury, nabbing a 27.

But we’re burying the lede here. You’re probably wondering how does he know Kardashian West in the first place. Turns out Manheim and his mother, “The Practice” star Camryn Manehim, became good pals with the Kardashian-Jenner clan after the Manheims taught them how to play poker a few months ago. (Side note: We’re really into the image of 17-year-old Milo Manheim teaching Kim Kardashian West when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em.) This explains why Kardashian West, Kris Jenner and Kendall Jenner all tweeted Monday night to tell their followers to vote for Manheim and his partner Witney Carson.

With his skills and now the first family of reality TV behind him, Manheim could definitely go all the way.
